Historically, mind control research progressing through the 1950s targeted individuals using macroscopic implants placed non-consensually in the skull and sinuses of unwary persons during surgery. It progressed basically through the detailed interpretation of the EEG rhythm of the individual in various states of thought, sense and emotion which was transmitted via radio waves to a distant computer (EEG telemetry)1. This was very well predicted by the pioneers in this field, as early as 1975.(Nano electronics and nanocircuitry approaches may deal with dimensions much smaller than real nanodimensions as is suggested by the possibilities of even single electron devices). This was also borne out of necessity by the fact that implantation of a person very often required neurosurgical procedures involving stereotaxis 6 greatly restricting the brunt of experimentation largely to institutionalized individuals. Moreover it is nothing but a matter of thought that many of the victims from different parts of the world complaining of this kind of phenomenon find themselves experiencing symptoms which can be technologically produced only if there is stimulation of very small areas of the brain or if potentials7 from very small areas of the brain (say a single neuron or a small network of neurons) are recorded, demanding a very fine degree of resolution in terms of access. It is needless to say that stimulation of a single motor unit of a muscle needs very fine localisation of stimulus. It says – ‘Liquid crystals8 which are injected directly into the blood stream and fasten themselves to the brain have been developed in the last ten years. It works on the same principle as the usual transmitters and uses the same technology and contains the same possibilities’. Their very small size, of the order of few nanometers would easily permit them to cross the blood brain barrier10 and to fix to the neural tissue which is their final destination. The blood brain barrier would permit particle size less than 5-20 nm. It is worthwhile noting that liquid crystal molecules with a linear dimension of 20-30 Angstrom (10-10m) and cross section diameter of 5 Angstrom is readily permitted. Another molecule of interest is the fullerene,11 diameter – 1nm) very popular in nanotechnology. Metal doped fullerenes and liquid crystals earn interest as organic materials with semiconductor activity and paramagnetic properties. It is beyond the scope of this article to discuss at length the nature of materials used. The electrical activity of neurons are recorded by the nanoelectrode and associated molecular level nanocircuitry and transmitted by their nanoantennas 12 to a distant receiver of a computer which could be part of a network, for monitoring and evaluation, making use of brain computer interface 13 systems.Advantages of using sub-microscopic nano particles for recording brain activity over macroscopic implants:-

– Electrical activity of individual neurons or small neural networks 14 could be recorded rather then recording the overall electrical activity of brain or brain centers/parts using surface or embedded macroelecrodes. This permits cellular and even molecular level interpretation and interaction.- It permits access to all areas of brain, their recording as well as electronic manipulation including the deep areas like the brain stem without interference from simultaneous recordings of other areas.- And not the least important, it provides a clear radiological field on accidental or intentional radiological examinations, leaving no trace of evidence.

The physical principles of electromagnetic waves 15 and antennas show that all antennas function by the property of resonance 16 and have their size (single largest dimension) related inversely to the frequency 17 of the electromagnetic waves, they propagate i.e. the largest dimension of the antenna should be at least 1/10 of wavelength of the electromagnetic wave they propagate even if they are ‘electrically small’18
This would necessitate antennas of nanoscale dimensions to propagate at the optical or near optical frequencies (infra red). However infrared frequencies permit only line of sight transmission and is suitable only for LAN 19 and indoor applications. Moreover the dielectric constant 20 and conductivity 21 of the human body as a medium of propagation restricts the use of IR for signal transmission. NIR signals are easily scattered and propagates only by diffusion.

Apart from involving bidirectional data transfer, some other mind control effects like fine muscle contractions appearing like fasciculations and electrically stimulated pain involves transfer of power. This may involve power of the order of 10-8 to 10-5 W to be transferred to highly localized areas of the nervous system. Considering conventional means of power transfer through electromagnetic waves even in the near field 22 , the values of power received are small and inadequate for the small wavelength of optical or near optical frequencies taking the Friis transmission formula23, into consideration. Femtosecond (10-15sec) or nanosecond pulses of IR laser may seem power efficient (P=W/t) in a free space consideration but not in human body considerations. This justly makes one think of the possibility of on-board power generation for the nano implant and on board 24 nano capacitors for storing the energy. Bionanogenerators 25 utilizing blood glucose for producing energy are very much in consideration and applicable. Other forms of power generation like piezoelectric effects26 and thermal effects are more applicable and efficient in consideration of nanoantenna arrays than on an individual basis.

What is the mode of communication, if not electromagnetic waves in the radio, IR, optic domains. The answer lies in the utilization of quantum mechanical interactions for the transfer of information. The unit of quantum information is qubit 27 which is the quantum analogue of classical bit. Some of the choices of basis of physical implementation of qubit are Electronic spin, Nuclear Spin, Atomic Spin, Coherent state of light, Polarization of light and many others to make the list complete. Current technological implementation of some of the above mentioned phenomena are the Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging. If we consider the phenomenon of electron spin resonance (ESR) or electron paramagnetic resonance 28 ,an unpaired electron of a paramagnetic species can move between the two energy levels of spin by either absorbing or emitting electromagnetic radiations of energy E=hv such that the resonance condition29(E=hv=geUBB0) is obeyed in the presence of an external magnetic field. The frequency of the electromagnetic radiation can be varied by varying the magnetic field. In this state of resonance, transfer of information can be achieved by modulating signals on these resonant frequencies. It is very well understood that the phenomenon is not practically achieved as so simply as is stated and is only achieved by extensive technological manipulation at the nanometer scale.

It is worth noting that as electronic devices scale down to nanometric levels they embrace the realms of quantum interactions and photonic interactions when spoken in terms of communications. The role of quantum physics is particularly relevant when communication systems in media which are impervious to optic or near optic frequencies like the human body are played upon.

A computer chip implanted behind the eye that could record a person’s every lifetime thought and sensation is to be developed by British scientists.

“This is the end of death,” said Dr. Chris Winter, of British Telecom’s artificial life team. He predicted that within three decades it would be possible to relive other people’s lives by playing back their experiences on a computer. “By combining this information with a record of the person’s genes, we could recreate a person physically, emotionally and spiritually.”

The proposal to digitize existence is based on a solid calculation of how much data the brain copes with over a lifetime.

Ian Pearson , BT’s official futurologist, has measured the flow of impulses from the optical nerve and nerves in the skin, tongue, ear, and nose. Over an eighty year life, we process 10 terrabytes of data, equivalent to the storage capacity of 7,142,857,142,860,000 floppy disks.

Indeed, there is no physical scene at all, and no evidence that an attack ever took place.

Most people who experience this abusive form of “artificial telepathy” feel as if their mind has been raped. They find themselves hunted, stalked, harassed and abused by a person or persons who refuse to give their names, who defile one’s mind with the most foul and perverse language imaginable, and who refuse to hang up or go away. The caller or callers delight in the perverse and sadistic torture of their targets. Furthermore, they delight in violating the privacy of their targets, reading the target’s mind and commenting on everything the target thinks, in an effort to demonstrate as brutally as possible that the target has no privacy at all.

Imagine what a man might do if he found a “cell phone” that allowed him to dial into the heads and the private thoughts of anyone on earth. The temptation to choose a target at random and start spying on or abusing that person would be enormous, almost irresistable. It could become a sick and twisted hobby, a guilty pleasure very quickly. Put into the hands of a secret police unit, the potential for abusing such technology is even more chilling.

Synthetic Telepathy system, would be intelligence gathering and interrogation. As a communication system, it would have a limited appeal as any nation with a similar setup could either listen in, or pretend to be the A.I. interface. As such, it raises important ethical and legal questions, especially the question of secrecy given that all major governments would be aware of the system. Given that no law permits this type of interrogation, its secrecy may be more to do with criminal activity on behalf of the security agencies, rather than national security.

To understand how this works, it is best to start with the target, then trace backwards and identify each of the required subsystems. If we look at the last diagram to the left, we can see that the key to this system is its ability to both listen and respond to the electrical activity of the brain implant from satellite.

Now, the natural reaction of a normal and intelligent person who undergoes the horrible experience of mind rape for the first time is to panic and reach for a real phone. They call family, contact their doctor or call police with a bizarre complaint that “someone is beaming voices into my head.”

But if the police are the ones behind the abuse, the victims aren’t going to get much help, are they? And if the police are not the perpetrators, then how are they to make an arrest? It’s much more convenient and easy to believe that the caller is a nutcase.

In short order, the victim of mind rape finds herself or himself undergoing the additional humiliation of being carted off to the psych ward, often being committed involuntarily by a loved one “for one’s own good.”

The more vehement the efforts to prove that the voice or voices in one’s head are “real”, the more smug become the smiles of the medical doctors, who gently insist that such technology does not exist, that the voices cannot possibly be real, and that one must take a powerful psych med and lie down for a good long rest.

 

The experience of “hearing voices” — especially voices that give a running stream of negative abuse — will gain one automatic admission to the rubber room. Indeed, hearing voices is a classic example of schizophrenia. If you hear voices, you are, by definition, crazy.

Yet when released from the psych ward with an expensive supply of meds, “voice hearers” often find that the meds are ineffective — exactly as one would expect if their problem had nothing to do with brain chemistry and everything to do with a bio-electronic attack by unseen stalkers.

Voice hearers often puzzle psychiatrists, because many of them don’t fit the classic model of schizophrenia, which usually begins onset in the early twenties. The victims of Synthetic telepathy “artificial telepathy” are often well into their thirties or fourties and many have no prior history of serious mental illness or drug abuse. Many seem to be alert, healthy, and rational even while insisting that they can hear voices. They agree with the psychiatrists that, yes, they are depressed, but who wouldn’t be a bit depressed under such trying circumstances? To be stalked and verbally bullied every waking hour of the day is a form of mental torture.

Victims of mind rape quickly learn not to discuss their “psychological problems” with family and coworkers. It’s embarrassing, it’s bizarre, it gets very little sympathy and only serves to alarm most people. The only way that another person can “help” is to suggest that the mind rape victim see a psychiatrist, who will promptly double one’s dose of psych meds and antidepressants. The result is a very stiff medical bill, which only adds financial pain to the mix. And the verbal harassment continues.

As they learn to endure their daily torture, voice hearers can usually return to mainstream life, where they are able to carry on intelligent, coherent conversations, hold down jobs, and function quite normally. In fact, if they don’t discuss their “problem” they usually can’t be told apart from normal people on the street. Because they are normal people.

The growing number of voice hearers in our society is therefore well masked. Those who continue to insist that there is a “secret society of people beaming voices into our heads” are simply laughed into silence or labelled paranoid schizophrenics. They are completely discredited. In fact, many voice hearers have internalized the idea that they are mentally ill, and they struggle to understand how their “auditory hallucinations” could continue to seem so very, very real.

Naturally, many of these voice hearers are deeply confused. They turn to support groups, including such on-line communities as the Voice Hearers’ support group at Yahoo.com.

Anyone who doubts that “artificial telepathy” exists need only contact such a Voice Hearers community, where they will encounter people who continue to insist that they are being harassed by real people using an unknown or unexplained technology.

Surprisingly, there is a tremendous amount of scientific literature and circumstantial evidence to back up that claim.

In the following posts, we will explore the history of synthetic telepathy and learn the names of the scientists who developed this sinister technology. We will also identify and examine some of the government agencies that are fielding and using this weapon of torture against innocent civilians.

It is inevitable. In the near future, someone will decide to record every moment of a human life from birth to death in digital storage. This will be more than an extreme reality TV stunt. It will mark the era of personal memory offloading, an adaptive memory technology that records and indexes every single moment of your life. Offloading personal memory begins with a personal memory device, or a PMD. The basic PMD would be no more complex than a nano chip implant in the brain that captures your every experience. A PMD could be easily fitted shortly after birth; the least invasive option would be like a Bluetooth headset worn over the ear connected wirelessly to a local device no larger than a cell phone. Once installed, the PMD would capture and upload all first-person memories to a centralized database for indexing, search, and recall.

Would the PMD remember where you parked? Always. Will it warn you when you are about to walk away and leave your hat and sunglasses on the bench behind you? Totally. Will it send you birthday reminders, schedule your meetings, remind you to pick up your dry-cleaning and let you program your DVR with voice commands? Yes. Will it find your car keys and remote control for you? Maybe. Will it record your innermost thoughts? Probably not. It won’t always be perfect, but it will greatly extend your normal range of memory, and over time it will become like an indispensable part of your brain.

External data is easy to record and index, but internal memory such as feelings, thoughts, ideas, and dreams present some engineering challenges. The PMD could be fitted with an invasive brain implant to extend functionality, but to keep things simple, let’s consider some cheap, non-invasive solutions. Biometric data such as temperature, galvanic skin response, brainwave activity, pulse, respiration rates, and perspiration levels can monitor mood, arousal, activity levels, and so on. This biometric data, no matter how spotty, can be used to generate a dynamic emotional profile for any individual as they move through their day. Speech and behavioral analysis can also track levels of focus and activity to indicate mood and engagement in reality. Facial gestures and voice pitch can be tracked to sense subtle emotional reactions to stimulus. There could be a service that monitors your diet and daily routines to see if you are acting in healthy or unhealthy ways. If environmental data capture is complete, filling in emotional data from biometric analysis would be a simple software task.

With your PMD you would be able to say, “Remember the time I did (activity) with (person) at (location)?” and your PMD would search your memory database and stream the audio, video, and emotional rendering of the experience to your cell phone. Or you could ask, “Remember that book I read on chimpanzees? Who was the author?” Multiple memories may fit your query and be returned as a basic search list with text, video, and audio links. Similar memories with substituted variables might be offered up as tangents. Your request may provide you with “links” to other activities at that same location or to other books you have read by the same author. Beyond that, you could watch yourself relive important memories, or if friends and family members had similar devices, you could share personal events and watch group memories through multiple perspectives. Human memory integrity need no longer rely on lossy neural compression and the unreliable he-said/she-said narratives that compose written history. It would all be a matter of public record stored in time-stamped relational database tables for all of history. At the very least, it may save a few arguments between married couples.

The PMD sounds like science fiction, but the technology for creating it exists today. It could be an iPhone app. The engineering hurdles would be the physical disk space and CPU cycles needed for daily storage, compression, and indexing of video and audio data for every person with a PMD. Let’s assume storage and CPU cycles are solvable problems and that indexing and compression of video and speech data will only get better and faster over time. So pretty soon, for a moderate monthly fee, you could get a PMD system bundled with your cable, cell-phone, or internet bill. With a pocket or desktop unit, your daily memory will be locally stored and indexed. The relevant data points would then be uploaded to a central server for global storage and cross-indexing with other personal memories and digital records over the course of your lifetime. Like a Tivo, your PMD would be able to predict which memories you want to save, which memories your friends and family will like.

How are these crimes being committed ?

Well for one thing, the expert finds these practices not limited to rogue states, but are rather easily wielded by:

That means it can be done for revenge, profit, or sadist entertainment. These practices cause financial ruin and isolation by:

“intimidation, harassment, surveillance, public shaming and defamation, as well as appropriation, deletion or manipulation of information.”

The resulting powerlessness and silence are easily enforced by the use of:

TORTURE, “mobbing, cyber-bullying, and state-sponsored persecution depriving victims of any possibility to effectively resist or escape their abuse”

Finally, the misuse of high tech devices, allows severe mental suffering to be remotely inflicted:

Medical implants and, conceivably, nano- or neurotechnological devices.”

The practices are not complicated, rely on various human weaknesses, and clearly thrive in authoritarian times. His presentations in a serious and severe manner warns of mobbing, ‘threats, intimidation,‘ and ‘inducing phobias,’ or ‘inducing anxiety’ all of which cause to people be unable to work, and frightens them away from help. The result is devastating.

The report ends with the following paragraph:

“Challenges of new technologies: In order to ensure the adequate implementation of the prohibition of torture and related international legal obligations in present and future circumstances, its interpretation should evolve in line with new challenges and capabilities arising in relation to emerging technologies not only in cyber space, but also in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, nano- and neurotechnology, or pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences including so-called “human enhancement”.

Most people are surprised to see anyone at the United Nations openly expressing such a complete grasp of the situation. You should know that his is very much another case of one person, standing to stem a tide. Mr. Melzer is therefore facing resistance, including the recent withdrawal of from Norway $100,000 in earmarked funding, leading to the recent loss of his investigative team.

It is hoped that the particular country engaging in such de-funding can realize the shame and infamy that would befall anyone who ignores and therefore aids and abets these vile practices.

Ett steg närmare säkra nanoelektroder i hjärnan

Den biologiska säkerheten med nanoteknik, alltså hur kroppen reagerar på nanopartiklar, är en het fråga. Nu har forskare vid Lunds universitet för första gången gjort framgångsrika försök med injektion av så kallade ”nanopinnar”.

I framtiden förväntas man kunna operera in elektroder, byggda i nanoskala, för att studera inlärning och minne samt för att behandla patienter som lider av kronisk smärta, depression och sjukdomar som exempelvis Parkinson. Men hur hjärnan skulle reagera om elektrodernas fästen skulle lossna från elektroderna, vet man inte.

Nu har forskare vid Lunds universitet för första gången undersökt detta ”worst case-scenario” genom att injicera in ”nanopinnar”, som i storlek och utformning motsvarar de framtida elektrodernas fästen, eller registreringspunkter, i råtthjärnor. Resultaten visar att hjärnans ”städceller”, mikroglia, tar hand om pinnarna. Efter tolv veckor såg man endast små skillnader mellan testgruppens och kontrollgruppens hjärnor. Resultaten publiceras i senaste numret av Nano Letters.

– Resultaten pekar på att detta är en framkomlig väg att jobba vidare på. Nu har vi bättre underlag för att utveckla mer avancerade och mer användbara elektroder än dagens, förklarar Christelle Prinz, forskare i fasta tillståndets fysik vid Lunds Tekniska Högskola, som tillsammans med Cecilia Eriksson Linsmeier vid Medicinska fakulteten är huvudförfattare till artikeln ”Nanowire biocompatibility in the brain – Looking for a needle in a 3D stack”.

Redan idag används elektroder för att motverka symtomen vid t ex Parkinsons sjukdom. Den framtida nanotekniken kan möjliggöra en förfinad och förbättrad behandling och öppna upp för helt nya användningsområden.

En fördel med elektroder i nanostorlek är att man kan registrera och stimulera från hjärnans minsta beståndsdelar. För att undersöka den biologiska säkerheten, biokompatibiliteten, av dessa elektroder tillverkade forskarna först nanopinnar som sedan blandades ut i en vätska som sprutades in i råttors hjärnor. Lika många råttor fick en lösning utan nanopinnar. Efter 1, 6 respektive 12 veckor undersöktes hur råtthjärnorna reagerat på nanopinnarna.

Forskningsprojektet drivs av universitetets tvärvetenskapliga Neuronano Research Center (NRC) koordinerat av Jens Schouenborg vid Medicinska fakulteten och finansierat av bl a Linnéanslag och Wallenbergstiftelsen. Arbetet har involverat forskare från såväl Medicinska fakulteten som forskare från Nanometerkonsortiet som leds av Lars Samuelson, LTH.

– Vi studerade två av hjärnvävnadens stödjeceller, dels mikrogliaceller som har i uppgift att ”städa bort” skräp och smittsamma ämnen i hjärnan, dels astrocyter som bidrar till hjärnans läkningsprocess. Mikrogliacellerna ”åt upp” de flesta nanopinnarna. Vecka 6 och 12 kunde vi se rester av dem i mikrogliacellerna, berättar Nils Danielsen, forskare vid NRC.

Antalet nervceller var konstant hela tiden, vilket är ett positivt tecken. Den största skillnaden mellan test- och kontrollgruppen var att den förra hade en större astrocytreaktion första veckan, men nivån avtog efter hand. Vecka 6 och 12 kunde forskarna inte se någon skillnad alls.

– Tillsammans med övriga resultat och mot bakgrund av att mikrogliacellerna minskade i antal över tid, tyder resultaten på att hjärnan inte skadas eller får några kroniska men av nanopinnarna, sammanfattar Christelle Prinz.

Idag hände en rolig grej. Tjejens studiekompis Laura kom förbi och ville att jag skulle vara livvakt åt henne när hon skulle fota en uteliggare, hon visste inte om han bar kniv eller något så jag skulle skydda henne från eveneutella överfall.

Vi satte oss vid busstationen där han skulle möta upp oss, och vi var lite nernösa för att han verkade inte kunna någon engelska. Vi väntade och väntade…men han dök inte upp.

Så då frågar Laura mig om jag vill vara modell istället, jag svarar snabbt ja och jag blir fotad under en timme föreställande allt från en egypt till en tiger…allt går bra och hon får sina bilder.

Men på väg ut från universitet så fungerande inte hennes nyckelkort, vilket gjorde att vi fick vänta en stund och försöka lösa situationen. Till slut så kom vi på att en av hennes kompisar hade nyckelkort. Så han fick cykla till universitetet och låsa upp åt oss.

Äntligen gryning!

Efter några tuffa dagar utan Internet så är det nu fullt ös som gäller. Det är skönt här nere, 25-30 grader varmt, oftast sol, trevliga människor och långa utekvällar.

Under veckan har jag fått en del jobb gjort också, bland annat har jag skrivit på ett utkast till en viktig projektbeskrivning, mailat runt inför olika uppdrag när jag kommer hem, bland annat för Stockholm Stad, Peace & Love-festivalen, Stockholms Universitet och andra.

Ikväll ska jag och tjejen äta gott, gå på bio och sedan ut på klubbarna vid stranden, det blir nog en superkväll. Imorgon så måste jag bli klar med ansökan så den kan kollas igenom och bli klar innan torsdag och inlämningsdagen.

Om några timmar börjar min resa till Sydafrika. Först kommer jag att få en dag i London där jag ska på The British Museum, sen blir det flyg över natten till Johannesburg och inrikes till Port Elisabeth vid Indiska oceanien. Ryktena säger att det är 25-30 grader där…

Under månaden kommer jag att umgås med tjejen, sköta arbetet på distans (nå mig på mail eller Skypenummer 08-559 24 730). Det kommer att bli väldigt spännande…

Nu börjar resan närma sig och jag har mycket att göra innan dess.

Onsdag
Jag håller en kort föreläsning för Medie-Re-Agera, ett ungdomsmedieprojekt i Stockholm. Jag ska prata om livet inom mediebranschen. På kvällen så träffar jag Daniel inför vårt viktiga möte på fredag.

Torsdag
Morgonmöte med Kaospiloten Jonas som jobbar med sitt spännande avslutningsprojekt. Sen är det tänkt att jag ska packa och fixa allt som behöver göras. På eftermiddagen har Plan Sverige en presentation av sitt nya mediegranskningsprojekt som jag har en liten del i. På kvällen är det möte kring Alla Olika – Alla Lika kampanjen i Sverige på LSU.

Fredag
Klockan 10 har vi ett viktigt möte, mer om detta senare. Sen träffar jag kampanjledaren för Alla Olika – Alla Lika som är på sverigebesök, vi ska snacka om den nya tidningen som vi ska skapa tillsammans. Sen är det packning och förberedelser inför den galet långa (28 timmar) långa resan till Port Elisabeth och Malin.

På lördag drar jag till Sydafrika, och jag gjorde just lite mer rätt för mig genom att betala 25.09 brittiska pund till organisationen Climate Care där man kan betala för sitt utläpp av växthusgaser. Pengarna går till verksamheter för att minska vår påverkan på världen. Jag vet inte riktigt hur de har räknat ut priset, men det är ett bra initiativ.

I övrigt så hade jag en faktastisk resa till Berlin, längtar redan tillbaka…

Jag har snubblat över det mest visionära Sverige har gjort på länge. Det är Staffan BjörckUD som vill göra en digital världsutställning för att öppna utställningen för nya grupper, speciellt ungdomar. Jag är väldigt imponerad av att han vågat dra igång ett sånt projekt och jag kommer att satsa på att hjälpa till att göra det till något helt unikt. Jag och några kollegor arbetar sedan en tid på ett projekt som verkligen skulle kunna bli en del av detta.

Väldigt spännande.

Klockan 11.00 träffa jag Fredrik Engström från LSU och prata om nya idéer, sedan tar jag tåget till Malmö för att träffa Behrang och bo kvar i staden.

Torsdag
På morgonen åker jag till Berlin med buss, det ligger i linje med mitt val att inte flyga om sträckan är under 75 mil. Kommer fram på eftermiddagen och ska träffa Anna och hennes tyska vänner.

Fredag
På dagen träffar jag folket från European Youth Press för att diskutera vårt nya gemensamma projekt som vi förhoppningsvis får pengar för. På kvällen kommer Janis och Robin, och vi blir ett stort gäng som drar på klubben Sweden Sweden där jag känner både band och DJ:s

Lördag
Bakfull med sen brunch och en del shopping.

Söndag
Flyger tillbaka till Sverige och har möte med arbetsgruppen inför vår presentation för Röda Linjen dagen efter.

Den blåa regeringen gör allt de kan för att splittra arbetarrörelsen så de kan sitta kvar i makten efter valet 2010. När jag i förra veckan skulle betala min fackliga avgift till HTF så hade den blivit dubbelt så hög som i december.

Jag förstår varför människor väljer att gå ur facket med dessa priserna, men jag uppmanar alla att trotsa regeringen, stanna kvar i facket som en enad rörelse. Det kan svida lite i plånboken, men jag tror att det kommer att svida ännu mera om borgarna får sitta kvar efter 2010.

Det är tydligt att regeringen försöker att få arbetarrörelsen ut balans genom att höja avgifterna och sänka A-kassan, när folk sedan går ur så kan de säga att rörelsen har spelat ut sin roll. De kunde inte ha mer fler än så. Det är i dessa tider som facket behövs, när högervindarna blåser och de egoistiska idealen får styra. Vi måste gemensamt slåss mot denna fiende, och om vi gör det tillsammans, då är det 1321 dagar tills vi vinner tillbaka makten!

Jag åkte X2000 tåget mellan Stockholm och Dalarna idag. Det satt två vuxna och två barn framför mig, och de hade fått fel biljett, de hade fått en biljett som inte gällde på X2000. Tågvärdarna gjorde sitt jobb och berättade att familjen måste köpa en ny biljett som gäller på X2000.

Men mamman i familjen satte sig på tvären och det blev ett jäkla liv. Med stationspersonal, försenade tåg och hot om poliingripande. Hon sa även att hennes dotter inte alls va hennes dotter utan bara åkte med henne och att hennes mamma hade köpt hennes biljett.

Jag tycker att det är tråkigt att personer försöker få billigare biljetter genom att gnälla på konduktören. De hade helt klart fått en biljett till ett pris som inte motsvarade resan, och skulle ha uppmärksammat detta.

Mamman betalade för hennes dotter, men inte för sig, så kontrollgruppen fick göra en ”citizens arrest” tills polisen kom. Galna människor det finns…

För övrigt så testar jag min nya Tele2 mobilt internet, och det fungerar grymt!

Imorgon släpps den viktigaste rapporten under hela 2000-talet. Det är FN:s klimatpanel som redovisar för sitt arbete de senaste sex åren. Över 2 000 forskare från 130 länder har arbetat med rapporten som enligt läckor ser väldigt mörk ut. De räknar att jordens medeltemperatur kommer att öka med 6 grader i snitt inom de kommande 100 åren, tidigare mätningar har visat på 2 grader. Detta är en mycket stor ökning som gör att stora delar av världen inte kommer att kunna vara tillgängliga för människor. Det kommer att bli en öken.

Hela rapporten är på 900 sidor av forskningstext, men det kommer också att finnas en sammanfattning som jag verkligen ber er att läsa. Den kommer att finnas på http://www.ipcc.ch/

Nästa helg, den 8-11 februari drar jag till Berlin för att kolla på en jäkla massa kompisar och bekanta som spelar på klubben Sweden Sweden. På scenen står mina gamla bandpolare Andreas och Pontus i deras nya band Torpedo, bakom skivspelarna står kompis Janis och Örebro-hjälten Abbas.

Det blir nog grymt, dagen innan är jag i Malmö och träffar Behrang.

Nu kommer, äntligen, en möjlighet för trådlös bredbandsuppkoppling med  en en räckvidd på upp till 11 mil från sändaren. Detta betyder att vi snart inte behöver ha någon uppkoppling hemma utan endast en Wimax-mottagare och sedan surfa fritt i hemmet, ute i parken, på jobbet, på stranden…möjligheterna är obegränsade! Det blir även det stora genombrottet för mobiler med Skype-stöd som gör det gratis att ringa mellan dessa telefoner om man är uppkopplad.

Jag väntar med spänning på fortsättningen, flera operatörer, som Telia och Bredbandsbolaget, håller på att se över möjligheterna för systemet.

Det kommer inte att dröja länge innan man kan ha samma trådlösa uppkoppling i hela Sverige. Och då blir förändras vår värld.

Jag blir mest trött när jag läser hans inlägg, där en graf, med största sannolikhet sponsrad av oljebolagen, står emot tung forksning från hela hela världen, 99,5 % av alla forskare ser sambandet mellan kliamtet och vår påverkan. Trots detta så väljer han att be Aftonbladet sluta med sitt upprop.

Imorgon kommer FN:s klimatpanel ut med sin rapport där över 2 500 forskare from hela världen har arbetat fram materialet under sex år. Detta blir antagligen den viktigaste rapporten någonsin, och enligt medieläckor så verkar den inte positiv. De förespår en dramatisk klimatökning och höjning av havsytan.

Har precis avslutat ett riktigt bra möte kring det nya kulturprojektet jag bygger upp. Jag bjöd på middag hemma hos mig och vi snackade länge, det blev riktigt bra.
När jag åker till Sydafrika så får jag nio timmars väntetid i London, så jag tänkte gå på British Museum, det blir nog ett besök på Bureau där jag köpte min grymma väska förra gången.

Under åren 2007-2013 satsar EU 8 miljarder kronor (!) på att stödja ungdomsprojekt, programmet heter Ung och Aktiv i Europa (Youth In Action på engelska) och de stödjer utbyten, ungas enga projekt och demokratiprojekt i hela EU och även i andra länder.

Detta är en stor chans för alla ungdomar att få pengar till att resa, göra intressanta projekt och få nya kontakter i andra länder. Jag kommer att ta en mycket aktiv del i programmet, och om du vill göra något, hör av dig på jonas@joney.se så kan vi se vad vi kan göra.

Är hos släkten för att fira min födelsedag. Det är sjukt kallt ute, vågar knappt gå utanför dörren och jag har blivit snuvig. Annars är att bra, ser fram emot en trevlig träff med släkten senare, och imorgon är det fest med vännerna på utsökta Street vid Hornstull.

Company files patent application for an implantable medical device that can transmit information. Think of it as a secure Wi-Fi router for yor bodey.

Samsung’s brain implant comes with security to fend off zombie surgeons, and hopefully non-zombie hackers, too.

Samsung has applied for a patent on an implantable medical device that can communicate physiological/pathological information with an “external device.”

At last, an app to tell us when we’re stressed, drunk, or asleep (states that typically occur in that order, at least for me).

Samsung envisions much more than just a pacemaker you connect to. The application includes a number of possible scenarios with sci-fi implications such as a brain implant to keep track of brainwaves (but certainly not embed subliminal messages about the superior quality of Samsung devices) and fingertip implants for motion detection.

There’s even mention of using the brain implant to directly control the system. Cutting through the patent-speak, Samsung is talking about an implant system capable of being controlled through thought.

Also fascinating is the apparent acknowledgment of the scary Orwell-meets-The Matrix potential of such a technology with the inclusion of a security engine in the device that could send alerts to the user whenever someone else is attempting to access the system.

So that scary pre-singularity moment could appear sooner than we thought: the day we have to decide if a chip in the head that could tell us about the stroke we’re about to have is worth the risk of a becoming the target of a brain hack. Suddenly, regular doctor’s check-ups aren’t sounding so bad anymore.

21.08. 2009. MINDTECH seeks to establish a network of laymen. This group will be dealing with the social and ethical sides to research, development and the implementation of emerging technologies in our society.

Turning point
Through our work we have found what we believe to be the most important research area when it comes to brain technologies and surveillance systems. This will (hopefully) lead us to new and significant discoveries regarding how these technologies work and the implications it will have on our society.

The most interesting part are the Direct Human Brain – AI – Interface System technologies. MINDTECH will do extensive and thorough research into this totally new area, which at this point, is being investigated only by the few.
